We are excited to announce our newest blog series where we will be interviewing our favorite Bravolebs about their pets!

First up, we have our friend Marge Sr. from the Real Housewives of New Jersey! Marge Sr. was one of our earliest supporters and we adore her love for all animals!

 Enjoy our interview below! 

Questions for Dog Lovers and Cat Lovers

Marge Sr:  When we first came to the USA I did not have any pets.  In Hungary I had a dog and cats, because I lived on a farm. Margaret got her first dog when she was very young, it was a Lhasa Apso we named her Queenie, it stayed with her grandparents and it became their dog. When she was 10 we got an Old English Sheepdog, I named him Maverick, after a western show (James Garner was the actor)  we also got a Lhasa Apso and I named him Gandalf after the wizard in J.R.R. Tolkien's novel, because Lhasa's were guard dogs at the monastery in Tibet.

Marge Sr:  My cats names are Maxi - I adopted him and he already had a name Maxwell so I just shortened it.  My other cat is Freckles and I adopted her when she was a kitten, she had little freckles on her nose and that is how she got her name.
I also had a cat named Harrison who lived until he was fourteen and he moved with with me even to Texas, he was also adopted and I named him after Harrison Ford.  He was a stray used to hang out in my backyard and I fed him, finally I just brought him in, he used to go out but after he got hurt I stopped that.

Marge Sr: Funny thing my cats have always been like dogs, they greet me at the door.  I used to put Maxi on a leash and let him stay outside on the deck (I don't allow my cats to go outside, they are all indoor cats).
