Q+A with Bravo TV Star and Fellow Dog Lover, Brittany Cartwright of Vanderpump Rules
For today's blog post, I chatted with Brittany Cartwright from Vanderpump Rules about her love of dogs! If you follow Brittany or her husband Jax on Instagram, you know how utterly obsessed they are with their three dogs, Kingsley, Monroe and Sophie. And I would even say that their dogs are obsessed with them too! You can tell through photos and videos just how happy and well loved Kingsley, Monroe and Sophie are. There is always a dog or two snuggled in on the couch with Brittany and Jax on Instragram Stories or posing in the background of a photo. It really is the sweetest thing to see the bond they all have! So I was thrilled when Brittany agreed to chat with me! I hope you enjoy our conversation below!
Brittany: We have always had dogs but the first one I really remember was an amazing Golden Retriever named Sandy. I think I was around 3 or 4 when we got her! She ended up having 14 black puppies and I named them names like snowflake and rainbow! lol she was a great dog :)
Brittany: We have Kingsley our Yorkie who we got first, he is 5, then Monroe (or Sissy Girl) our Poodle and she is almost 4 and Sophie our newest family member rescue who is a mini yorkie and she is around 3 or 4 (we aren’t exactly sure!).

Brittany: They have been able to tell I was pregnant for a long time now! They all three follow me from room to room especially to the bathroom and wait by my feet. They lay on my belly all the time and just do not leave my side. It’s so sweet. I talk about the baby a lot and say his name a lot to them to try and get them used to hearing his name! My poodle Monroe (or Sissy girl) has learned to put her paws on my belly when I say “where is baby brother!?) it’s so so cute!
Brittany: I will say that we got Kingsley on December 10th 5 years ago and it was the same day my beloved Papaw (Grandfather) passed away. It wasn’t really my “best” memory but he helped me through that pain so much and we named him Kingsley Turner after my Papaw Turner. Dogs are so special and they can help with so much.
