Q+A with Bravo TV Star and Fellow Dog Lovers Courtney Skippon | Dogs of Bravo

This week, we have an interview with our friend and fellow dog lover, Courtney Skippon from Bravo TV's Below Deck! We adore Courtney's love for her best friend's dog, Ollie the Yoodle and knew she and Ollie had to be interviewed for our Bravoleb series!

 

I got my first pet, a hamster, when I was a few years old. It’s difficult to tell the gender when they’re young, so it was a boy - extremely unsuitably named (by me) - Melissa. I have been opposed to traditional gender roles since age 3, apparently.

I got my first and only dog for my 5th birthday: a German Shepherd that I named - again, unsuitably - Daisy.

I currently have no pets, and haven’t since our dog died years ago. I have, however, been lucky enough to be an overly involved dog aunt to my best friends’ Yorkipoo, Ollie. All other men in my life are now secondary to him. 

It’s hard to pick a best memory. As someone who leans towards introversion, I’ve always enjoyed the not-really-company company of a dog — especially over a solo glass of wine.
